Nestled just north of Thorndale Ontario’s town center, a stone's throw from the meandering Thames River, lies our labor of love—The Wandering Bee Flower Farm. Here, among the flower fields and under the watchful eye of the sun, our family's story unfolds.
Living with intention, Growing blooms for our community
Dan and Bronwyn farm the land and design with the flowers together but couldn’t do it with out the support of our multigenerational family living at the farm. Each of us, from the youngest sprout to the eldest oak, contributes uniquely to the tapestry of our farm life. Together, we cultivate more than just land; we nurture our legacy with every seed sown and every bloom harvested.
The soil under our fingernails a is part of the fun of growing flowers for us. Our love for nature and being outside is what fuelled a dream that has grown into a flower farm which provides fresh cut flowers for the local market. We absolutely love growing flowers for local deliveries, farmer’s markets, local florists, local businesses and your home.
A Farm Alive with Characters
On a walk around our farm you would have a chance to stop and say hi to the alpaca, chickens, our donkey and the bees. Our alpaca provide us with their extraordinary fibre and we are grateful for our donkey who protects the flock. Our chickens, the vegetables that can be found intermixed with the flowers and our fruit trees provide nourishment to our family and friends.
For seven years, we've been the stewards of this land growing and learning amongst the flowers. Through agricultural practices that honour the rhythms of nature, we have seen our soil health strengthen, beneficial insects return and a community of nature lovers build around us. Our farm is not merely a place but a living testament to the virtues of organic, sustainable, and regenerative agriculture.
